Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr and Umar burned the belongings of anyone who had been dishonest about booty and beat him. Abu Dawud said: Ali bin Bahr added on the authority of al-Walid, and I did not hear (a tradition) from him: And they denied him his share. " Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by al-Walid bin Utbah from Abd al-Wahhab bin Najdah; They said: This has been transmitted by al-Walid, from Zuhair bin Muhammad, from Amr bin Shuaib. Abd al-Wahhab bin Najdah al-Huti did not mention the words "He denied him his share" (as narrated by Ali bin Bahr from al-Walid).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ،عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرَ حَرَّقُوا مَتَاعَ الْغَالِّ وَضَرَبُوهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وَزَادَ فِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْهُ وَمَنَعُوهُ سَهْمَهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وحَدَّثَنَا بِهِ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَوْلَهُ : وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ مَنْعَ سَهْمِهِ .
