Narrated by علي بن أبي طالب الهاشمي
Ali bin Abi Talib reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying: He narrated the tradition to the same effect, but he did not mention the words "until the age of eating". This version adds: Qatadah said: This is valid until the time they do not eat food; when they begin to eat, their urine should be washed.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَا لَمْ يَطْعَمْ زَادَ ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ : هَذَا مَا لَمْ يَطْعَمَا الطَّعَامَ ، فَإِذَا طَعِمَا غُسِلَا جَمِيعًا .
