Chapter: Regarding eating rabbit.

باب فِي أَكْلِ الأَرْنَبِ

English narration

Narrated by أنس بن مالك الأنصاري

Anas bin Malik said: I was an adolescent boy. I hunted a hare and roasted it. Abu Talib sent its hunch through me to the Prophet ﷺ, So I bought it to him and accepted it.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : "

كُنْتُ غُلَامًا حَزَوَّرًا ، فَصِدْتُ أَرْنَبًا فَشَوَيْتُهَا ، فَبَعَثَ مَعِي أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِعَجُزِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا فَقَبِلَهَا

" .
