Chapter 11

Chapter: Whoever Sleeps Through The Prayer (Time) Or Forgets (To Pray).

باب فِي مَنْ نَامَ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ، أَوْ نَسِيَهَا

English narration

Narrated by أنس بن مالك الأنصاري

Anas bin Malik reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying: If any one forgets a prayer or oversleeps, he should observe it when he remembers it ; there is no expiation for it except that.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا ، لَا كَفَّارَةَ لَهَا إِلَّا ذَلِكَ

" .
