باب فِي تَغْيِيرِ الأَسْمَاءِ

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن عمر العدوي

Ibn Umar reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Your names which are dearest to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur-Rahman.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ سَبَلَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

أَحَبُّ الْأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ

" .
