Chapter 36

Chapter: What Should Be Said When One Hears The Mu’adhdhin.

باب مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

Aishah said that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard the Muadhdhin uttering the testimony, he would say: “And I too, and I too”.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، "

أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَتَشَهَّدُ ، قَالَ : وَأَنَا وَأَنَا

" .
