Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي
Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying: There is no loss in salutation and in prayer. Abu Dawud said: According to the version of Ibn Mahdi, this tradition has been narrated by Ibn Fudail as a statement of Abu Hurairah and not as a saying of the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : أُرَاهُ رَفَعَهُ ، قَالَ : "
لَا غِرَارَ فِي تَسْلِيمٍ وَلَا صَلَاةٍ
" . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَلَى لَفْظِ ابْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ .
