Abu Dawud · 288إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَيْسَتْ بِالْحَيْضَةِ ، وَلَكِنْ هَذَا عِرْقٌ ، فَاغْتَسِلِي وَصَلِّيAishah, wife of Prophet ﷺ, said: Umm Habibah, daughter of Jahsh, sister-in-law of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and wife of Abdur-Rahman bin Awf, had a flow of blood for seven years. She asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. According to this version. This version has the words: "She used to take a bath for every prayer. " Abu Dawud said: Al-Qasim bin Mabrur reported from Yunus from Ibn Shihab fro5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 291فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَAishah said: Umm Habibah had a prolonged flow of blood for seven years. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded her to take bath; so shed used to take bath for every prayer.7 narratorsAbu Dawud · 292حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ اسْتُحِيضَتْ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَAishah said: Umm Habibah had a prolonged flow of blood during the time of Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
