Abu Dawud · 12لَقَدِ ارْتَقَيْتُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْبَيْتِ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ لِحَاجَتِهِNarrated Abd Allaah bin Umar: I ascended the roof of the house and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sitting on two bricks facing Jerusalem (Bait al-Maqdis) for relieving himself.6 narratorsAbu Dawud · 13نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَاNarrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade us to face the qiblah at the time of making water.
