Abu Dawud · 1762إِنْ عَطِبَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَانْحَرْهُ ، ثُمَّ اصْبُغْ نَعْلَهُ فِي دَمِهِ ، ثُمَّ خَلِّ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِNarrated Najiyah al-Aslami: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent sacrificial camels with him (as offering to the Kabah). He then said: If any one of them becomes fatigued, slaughter it, dip its shoes in its blood, and leave it 5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 1763تَنْحَرُهَا ، ثُمَّ تَصْبُغُ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ، ثُمَّ اضْرِبْهَا عَلَى صَفْحَتِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِكَ ، أَوْ قَالَ : مِنْ أَهْلِ رُفْقَتِكَIbn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man of al-Aslam tribe and sent with him eighteen sacrificial camels (as offering to Makkah).
