Abu Dawud · 1895لَمْ يَطُفْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا أَصْحَابُهُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةِ إِلَّا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا طَوَافَهُ الْأَوَّلَJabir bin Abdallah said “Neither the Prophet ﷺ nor his Companions ran between Al Safa’ and Al Marwah except once and that was his first running. ”5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 1896أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مَعَهُ لَمْ يَطُوفُوا حَتَّى رَمَوْا الْجَمْرَةَNarrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who accompanied him did not go round the Kabah till they threw pebbles at the Jamrah (pillar at Mina).5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 1897طَوَافُكِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةِ يَكْفِيكِ لِحَجَّتِكِ وَعُمْرَتِكِAta said The Prophet ﷺ said to Aishah Your observance of circumambulation of the Kaabah and your running between Al Safa’ and al Marwah (only once) are sufficient for your Hajj and your ‘Umrah.
