Abu Dawud · 2241حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ حُمَيْضَةَ بْنِ الشَّمَرْدَلِ ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ Narrated Al-Harith ibn Qays al-Asadi: I embraced Islam while I had eight wives. So I mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet (said) said: Select four of them.
