Abu Dawud · 4164أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ عَائِشَةَ رضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْ خِضَابِ الْحِنَّاءِ ، فَقَالَتْ : لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ وَلَكِنْ أَكْرَهُهُ ، كَانَ حَبِيبِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكْرَهُ رِيحَهُNarrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Karimah, daughter of Hammam, told that a woman came to Aishah (Allah be pleased with her) and asked her about dyeing with henna.
