Abu Dawud · 4176قَدِمْتُ عَلَى أَهْلِي لَيْلًا وَقَدْ تَشَقَّقَتْ يَدَايَ ، فَخَلَّقُونِي بِزَعْفَرَانٍ ، فَغَدَوْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ ، وَلَمْ يُرَحِّبْ بِيNarrated Ammar ibn Yasir: I came to my family at night (after a journey) with my hands chapped and they perfumed me with saffron. The people of Makkah began to bring their boys and he would invoke a blessing on them and rub their heads.
