Chapter 25

(25) Chapter. What is said about the Nawafil being offered as two Raka followed by two and so on.

25- بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي التَّطَوُّعِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى:

English narration

Narrated by الحارث بن ربعي السلمي

The Prophet (ﷺ) was never more regular and particular in offering any Nawafil than the two rak'at (Sunna) of the Fajr prayer.

حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ بْنَ رِبْعِيٍّ الْأنْصَارِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

" .
