كِتَاب الْحَجِّ

Chapter 56

(56) Chapter. The touching (and kissing) of the Black Stone on reaching Makkah during the first round of Tawaf of the Kabah, and doing Ramal in the first three rounds (of Tawaf).

56- بَابُ اسْتِلاَمِ الْحَجَرِ الأَسْوَدِ حِينَ يَقْدَمُ مَكَّةَ أَوَّلَ مَا يَطُوفُ وَيَرْمُلُ ثَلاَثًا:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن عمر العدوي

I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) arriving at Mecca; he kissed the Black Stone Corner first while doing Tawaf and did ramal in the first three rounds of the seven rounds (of Tawaf).

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قال : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ يَقْدَمُ مَكَّةَ إِذَا اسْتَلَمَ الرُّكْنَ الْأَسْوَدَ أَوَّلَ مَا يَطُوفُ يَخُبُّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ مِنَ السَّبْعِ " .
