(25) Chapter. Taking a bath by a person observing Saum (fast).

25- بَابُ اغْتِسَالِ الصَّائِمِ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

(At times) in Ramadan the Prophet (ﷺ) used to take a bath in the morning not because of a wet dream and would continue his fast.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا : "

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُدْرِكُهُ الْفَجْرُ فِي رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ حُلْمٍ ، فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ

" .
