Chapter 30

(30) Chapter. Robbing (taken away somebody’s property publicly by force without his permission).

30- بَابُ النُّهْبَى بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ صَاحِبِهِ:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن يزيد الأوسي

The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade robbery (taking away what belongs to others without their permission), and also forbade mutilation (or maiming) of bodies.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ وَهُوَ جَدُّهُ أَبُو أُمِّهِ ، قَالَ : "

نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ النُّهْبَى وَالْمُثْلَةِ

" .
