كِتَاب بَدْءِ الْخَلْقِ
Chapter 15
(15) Chapter. The best property of a Muslim will be sheep he takes to pasture on the tops of mountains.
15- بَابُ خَيْرُ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ:
English narration
Narrated by أبو لبابة الأنصاري
Ibn 'Umar used to kill snakes but when Abu Lubaba informed him that the Prophet (ﷺ) had forbidden the killing of snakes living in houses, he gave up killing them.
النص العربي
فَحَدَّثَهُ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "
نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ جِنَّانِ الْبُيُوتِ فَأَمْسَكَ عَنْهَا
" .
