(6) Chapter. The merits of Umar bin Al-Khattab Abi Hafs Al-Qurashi Al-Adawi.
6- بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَبِي حَفْصٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ الْعَدَوِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
English narration
Narrated by عبد الله بن هشام التيمي
We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was holding 'Umar bin Al-Khattab by the hand.
النص العربي
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَقِيلٍ زُهْرَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ أَنَّهُ ، سَمِعَ جَدَّهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : "
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ
" .
