Chapter 64
(64) Chapter. Employing the carpenter and the technical hand (artisan) in making the wooden pulpit or building the mosque.
64- بَابُ الاِسْتِعَانَةِ بِالنَّجَّارِ وَالصُّنَّاعِ فِي أَعْوَادِ الْمِنْبَرِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ:
English narration
Narrated by سهل بن سعد الساعدي
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent someone to a woman telling her to "Order her slave, carpenter, to prepare a wooden pulpit for him to sit on."
النص العربي
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ ، قَالَ : "
بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ مُرِي غُلَامَكِ النَّجَّارَ ، يَعْمَلْ لِي أَعْوَادًا أَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِنَّ
" .
