كِتَاب تَفْسِيرِ الْقُرْآنِ
Chapter 14
(14) Chapter. Allah’s Statement: “And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allah... (till)... Whose people are oppressors...” (V.4:75)
14- بَابُ قَوْلُهُ: {وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ} إِلَى: {الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا}:
English narration
Narrated by عبد الله بن العباس القرشي
My mother and I were among the weak and oppressed (Muslims at Mecca).

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : "
كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأُمِّي مِنَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ
" .
