Hadith 4769

Book 65: The Book of Commentary

كِتَاب تَفْسِيرِ الْقُرْآنِ

Chapter 1

(1) Chapter. “And disgrace me not on the day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected." (V.26:87)

1- بَابُ: {وَلاَ تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ}:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, Abraham will meet his father (on the Day of Resurrection) and will say, 'O my Lords You promised me that You would not let me in disgrace on the Day when people will be resurrected.' Allah will say, 'I have forbidden Paradise to the non-believers."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَخِي ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : "

يَلْقَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَبَاهُ ، فَيَقُولُ : يَا رَبِّ ، إِنَّكَ وَعَدْتَنِي أَنْ لَا تُخْزِيَنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ ، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ : إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الْجَنَّةَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
