كِتَاب الْأَطْعِمَةِ

Chapter 11

(11) Chapter. The food of one person is sufficient for two persons.

11- بَابُ طَعَامُ الْوَاحِدِ يَكْفِي الاِثْنَيْنِ:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The food for two persons is sufficient for three, and the food of three persons is sufficient for four persons."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

طَعَامُ الِاثْنَيْنِ كَافِي الثَّلَاثَةِ وَطَعَامُ الثَّلَاثَةِ كَافِي الْأَرْبَعَةِ

" .
