Chapter 43

(43) Chapter. At-Ajwa (a special kind of date).

43- بَابُ الْعَجْوَةِ:

English narration

Narrated by سعد بن أبي وقاص الزهري

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "He who eats seven 'Ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا جُمْعَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

مَنْ تَصَبَّحَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ عَجْوَةً لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ سُمٌّ وَلَا سِحْرٌ

" .
