Book 81: The Book of Ar-Riqaq (Softening of The Hearts)

كِتَاب الرِّقَاقِ

Chapter 6

(6) Chapter. The deed which is done seeking Allah‘s Countenance (i.e., for the sake of Allah).

6- بَابُ الْعَمَلِ الَّذِي يُبْتَغَى بِهِ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah says, 'I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward).

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : "

مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ ، إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ

" .
