Book 93: The Book of Al-Fitan

كِتَاب الْفِتَنِ

Chapter 23

(23) Chapter. Time will change until idols will be worshipped.

23- بَابُ تَغْيِيرِ الزَّمَانِ حَتَّى يَعْبُدُوا الأَوْثَانَ:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Hour will not be established till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhi-al-Khalasa." Dhi-al-Khalasa was the idol of the Daus tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَضْطَرِبَ أَلَيَاتُ نِسَاءِ دَوْسٍ عَلَى ذِي الْخَلَصَةِ

" ، وَذُو الْخَلَصَةِ : طَاغِيَةُ دَوْسٍ الَّتِي كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ .
