Book 13: The Book of The Two Eid (Prayers and Festivals).

كِتَاب الْعِيدَيْنِ

Chapter 24

(24) Chapter. Whoever returned (after offering the Eid prayer) on the day of Eid through a way different from that by which he went.

24- بَابُ مَنْ خَالَفَ الطَّرِيقَ إِذَا رَجَعَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

On the Day of 'Id the Prophet (ﷺ) used to return (after offering the 'Id prayer) through a way different from that by which he went.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ، عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ ، قَالَ : "

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ عِيدٍ خَالَفَ الطَّرِيقَ

" ، تَابَعَهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ فُلَيْحٍ ، وَقَال مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ ، عَن فُلَيْحٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ أَصَحُّ .
