Bukhari · 1867الْمَدِينَةُ حَرَمٌ مِنْ كَذَا إِلَى كَذَا ، لَا يُقْطَعُ شَجَرُهَا ، وَلَا يُحْدَثُ فِيهَا حَدَثٌ مَنْ أَحْدَثَ حَدَثًا ، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَThe Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Medina is a sanctuary from that place to that.
