17- بَابُ وَمِنَ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْخُمُسَ لِلإِمَامِ وَأَنَّهُ يُعْطِي بَعْضَ قَرَابَتِهِ دُونَ بَعْضٍ مَا قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِبَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ وَبَنِي هَاشِمٍ مِنْ خُمُسِ خَيْبَرَ:

(17) Chapter. The proof of the fact that Khumus is for the lmam (i.e., ruler), and taht he has the right to give thereof to some of his relatives to exclusion of others. Whatr the Prophet (p.b.u.h) distributed to Bani Al-Muttalib and Bani Hashim from the Khumus of the Khaibar booty.
