Bukhari · 3859حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ مَسْرُوقًا مَنْ آذَ"I asked Masruq, 'Who informed the Prophet (ﷺ) about the Jinns at the night when they heard the Qur'an?' He said, 'Your father `Abdullah informed me that a tree informed the Prophet (ﷺ) about them.'
