Animals that are sacrificed (slaughtered) on An-Nusub and for the idols.1717- بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَلْيَذْبَحْ عَلَى اسْمِ اللَّهِ»:(17) Chapter.The saying of Prophet: “So slaughter by mentioning the Name of Allah.”1818- بَابُ مَا أَنْهَرَ الدَّمَ مِنَ الْقَصَبِ وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَالْحَدِيدِ:(18) Chapter. (About the instruments) that cause the blood (of slaughter animals) to gush out, e.g., of cane, granite stone, or iron.1919- بَابُ ذَبِيحَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ وَالأَمَةِ:(19) Chapter. The animal slaughtered by a lady or a lady slave.2020- بَابُ لاَ يُذَكَّى بِالسِّنِّ وَالْعَظْمِ وَالظُّفُرِ:(20) Chapter. Not to slaughter with a tooth, a bone or a nail.2121- بَابُ ذَبِيحَةِ الأَعْرَابِ وَنَحْوِهِمْ:(21) Chapter. The animals slaughtered by bedouins or the like.2222- بَابُ ذَبَائِحِ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَشُحُومِهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْحَرْبِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ:(22) Chapter. If a mouse falls into solid or liquid butter-fat (As-Samn).3535- بَابُ الْوَسْمِ وَالْعَلَمِ فِي الصُّورَةِ:(35) Chapter. Branding the faces.3636- بَابُ إِذَا أَصَابَ قَوْمٌ غَنِيمَةً فَذَبَحَ بَعْضُهُمْ غَنَمًا أَوْ إِبِلاً بِغَيْرِ أَمْرِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ لَمْ تُؤْكَلْ:(36) Chapter. If some people get some war booty and then some of them slaughter some sheep or camels without the permission of their companions, such animals should not be eaten, as is indicated by the Hadith of the Prophet narrated by Rafi.3737- بَابُ إِذَا نَدَّ بَعِيرٌ لِقَوْمٍ فَرَمَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ بِسَهْمٍ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَرَادَ إِصْلاَحَهُمْ فَهْوَ جَائِزٌ:(37) Chapter. If a camel of some people runs away and one of them shoots it with an arrow and kills it for their own good, then it is permissibl. Rafi narrates this on the authority of the Prophet.

Bukhari · 5475مَا أَصَابَ بِحَدِّهِ فَكُلْهُ ، وَمَا أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَهُوَ وَقِيذٌI asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the game killed by a Mi'rad (i.e. a sharp-edged piece of wood or a piece of wood provided with a sharp piece of iron used for hunting). He said, "If you hit the game with its sharp edge, eat it, but if the Mi'rad hits the game with its shaft with a hit by its broad side do not eat it, for it has been beaten5 narratorsBukhari · 5477قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّا نُرْسِلُ الْكِلَابَ الْمُعَلَّمَةَ ، قَالَ : كُلْ مَا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكَ ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ ؟ قَالَ : وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنَّا نَرْمِي بِالْمِعْرَاضِ ، قَالَ : كُI said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! We let loose our trained hounds after a game?" He said, "Eat what they hunt for you." I said, "Even if they killed (the game)?" He replied, 'Even if they killed (the game)." I said, 'We 6 narratorsBukhari · 5478قُلْتُ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضِ قَوْمٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أَفَنَأْكُلُ فِي آنِيَتِهِمْ ؟ وَبِأَرْضِ صَيْدٍ أَصِيدُ بِقَوْسِي وَبِكَلْبِي الَّذِي لَيْسَ بِمُعَلَّمٍ ، وَبِكَلْبِي الْمُعَلَّمِ فَمَا يَصْلُI said, "O Allah's Prophet! We are living in a land ruled by the people of the Scripture; Can we take our meals in their utensils? "We hunt with the help of these hounds."
