46- بَابُ هَلْ يَأْمُرُ الإِمَامُ رَجُلاً فَيَضْرِبُ الْحَدَّ غَائِبًا عَنْهُ وقد فعله عمر:
(46) Chapter. Can a ruler order somebody to inflict the legal punishment on someone without himself being present? Umar did so (during his caliphate).

Then his opponent who was wiser than he, got up and said, "He has spoken the truth.
