Abu Dawud · 826هَلْ قَرَأَ مَعِيَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ آنِفًا ؟ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : نَعَمْ ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَالِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ ، قَالَ : فَانْتَهَى النَّاسُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اNarrated Abu Hurairah: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished a prayer in which he had recited (the Quran) loudly, he asked: Did any of you recite along with me just now? A man replied: Yes, Messenger of Allah.
