Abu Dawud · 2860وَمَنْ لَزِمَ السُّلْطَانَ افْتُتِنَ زَادَ ، وَمَا ازْدَادَ عَبْدٌ مِنَ السُّلْطَانِ دُنُوًّا إِلَّا ازْدَادَ مِنَ اللَّهِ بُعْدًاNarrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: He said: He who sticks to a king is perverted.
