Abu al-Zahiriyyah said: We were in the company of Abdullah bin Busr, the Companion of the Prophet ﷺ, on a Friday. A man came and stepped over the people. Abdullah bin Busr said: A man came and stepped over the people while the Prophet ﷺ was giving the sermon on Friday. The Prophet ﷺ said: Sit down, you have annoyed (the people).

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ صَاحِبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ آذَيْتَ " .
