Chapter 40

Chapter: The Animals That A Muhrim Is Allowed To Kill.

باب مَا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying There are five (creatures) the killing of which is lawful in the sacred territory. The Snake, the Scorpion, the Kite, the Rat and the biting Dog.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

خَمْسٌ قَتْلُهُنَّ حَلَالٌ فِي الْحُرُمِ : الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ

" .
