Bukhari · 9الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسِتُّونَ شُعْبَةً ، وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِThe Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Faith (Belief) consists of more than sixty branches (i.e. parts). And Haya (This term "Haya" covers a large number of concepts which are to be taken together; amongst them are self respect, modesty6 narratorsBukhari · 101مَا مِنْكُنَّ امْرَأَةٌ تُقَدِّمُ ثَلَاثَةً مِنْ وَلَدِهَا إِلَّا كَانَ لَهَا حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ ، فَقَالَتْ : امْرَأَةٌ وَاثْنَتَيْنِ ، فَقَالَ : وَاثْنَتَيْنِSome women requested the Prophet (ﷺ) to fix a day for them as the men were taking all his time. On that he promised them one day for religious lessons and commandments.
