باب فِي الظَّنِّ

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Avoid suspicion for suspicion is the most lying form of talk. Do not be inquisitive about one another, or spy on one another.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا تَحَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا

" .
