Chapter 10

(10) Chapter. How was the Salat (Tahajjud prayer) of the Prophet ﷺ and how many Raka, he used to offer at night?

10- بَابُ كَيْفَ كَانَ صَلاَةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَمْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

The Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to offer thirteen rak'at of the night prayer and that included the witr and two rak'at (Sunna) of the Fajr prayer.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : "

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً ، مِنْهَا الْوِتْرُ وَرَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ

" .
