Chapter 24

(24) Chapter. Whoever talks after offering two Raka (Sunna) (of the Fajr prayer) and does not lie down.

24- بَابُ مَنْ تَحَدَّثَ بَعْدَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَلَمْ يَضْطَجِعْ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

After offering the Sunna of the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to talk to me, if I happen to be awake; otherwise he would lie down till the Iqama call was proclaimed (for the Fajr prayer).

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، "

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى سُنَّةَ الْفَجْرِ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ مُسْتَيْقِظَةً حَدَّثَنِي ، وَإِلَّا اضْطَجَعَ حَتَّى يُؤْذَنَ بِالصَّلَاةِ

" .
