Chapter 23

(23) Chapter. To lie down on the right side after offering two Raka (Sunna) of the Fajr prayer.

23- بَابُ الضِّجْعَةِ عَلَى الشِّقِّ الأَيْمَنِ بَعْدَ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to lie down on his right side, after offering two rak'at (Sunna) of the Fajr prayer.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : "

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ

" .
