Chapter 29
(29) Chapter. (Is it permissible for) women to accompany the funeral procession?
29- بَابُ اتِّبَاعِ النِّسَاءِ الْجَنَائِزَ:

We were forbidden to accompany funeral processions but not strictly.
النص العربي
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْهُذَيْلِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : "
نُهِينَا عَنْ إتباع الجنائز وَلَمْ يُعْزَمْ عَلَيْنَا
" .
