Bukhari · 313كُنَّا نُنْهَى أَنْ نُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ ، إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ، وَلَا نَكْتَحِلَ وَلَا نَتَطَيَّبَ وَلَا نَلْبَسَ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا إِلَّا ثَوْبَ عَصْبٍ ، وَقَدْ رُخِّصَ لَWe were forbidden to mourn for a dead person for more than three days except in the case of a husband for whom mourning was allowed for four months and ten days.
