كِتَاب الصَّوْمِ

Chapter 26

(26) Chapter. If a person observing Saum (fast) ate or drank forgetfully (should he observe Saum another day in lieu of that day)?

26- بَابُ الصَّائِمِ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ نَاسِيًا:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk, has been given to him by Allah."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

إِذَا نَسِيَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ ، فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ ، فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ

" .
