Chapter 24

(24) Chapter. (The sin of) one who eats Riba (usury), its witness and its writer.

24- بَابُ آكِلِ الرِّبَا وَشَاهِدِهِ وَكَاتِبِهِ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

When the last Verses of Surat al- Baqara were revealed, the Prophet (ﷺ) recited them in the mosque and proclaimed the trade of alcohol as illegal.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : "

لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آخِرُ الْبَقَرَةِ ، قَرَأَهُنَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، ثُمَّ حَرَّمَ التِّجَارَةَ فِي الْخَمْرِ

" .
