كِتَاب الْهِبَةِ وَفَضْلِهَا وَالتَّحْرِيضِ عَلَيْهَا

(7) Chapter. The acceptance of a gift.

7- بَابُ قَبُولِ الْهَدِيَّةِ:

English narration

Narrated by أنس بن مالك الأنصاري

Some meat was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and it was said that the meat had been given in charity to Buraira. He said, "It was Sadaqa for Buraira but a gift for us."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : "

أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَحْمٍ ، فَقِيلَ : تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ ، قَالَ : هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

" .
