If somebody gives somebody else a present, or promises to give him a present, and one of them dies before the gift reaches the other person.1919- بَابُ كَيْفَ يُقْبَضُ الْعَبْدُ وَالْمَتَاعُ:(19) Chapter. How to take over the slave and property (given as gift)?2020- بَابُ إِذَا وَهَبَ هِبَةً فَقَبَضَهَا الآخَرُ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ قَبِلْتُ:(20) Chapter. When someone gives something (as a gift) to another person and the receiver takes it into his possession without saying, "I have accepted it."2121- بَابُ إِذَا وَهَبَ دَيْنًا عَلَى رَجُلٍ:(21) Chapter. If a creditor gives the debt, due to him, as a gift.2222- بَابُ هِبَةِ الْوَاحِدِ لِلْجَمَاعَةِ:(22) Chapter. If a group of persons gives a gift to some people.2525- بَابُ مَنْ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ هَدِيَّةٌ وَعِنْدَهُ جُلَسَاؤُهُ فَهْوَ أَحَقُّ:(25) Chapter. Whosoever is given a gift while some people are sitting with him, he only has the right to have it.2627- بَابُ هَدِيَّةِ مَا يُكْرَهُ لُبْسُهَا:(27) Chapter. The presenting of a gift of clothes, wearing of which is disliked.2728- بَابُ قَبُولِ الْهَدِيَّةِ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ:(28) Chapter. The acceptance of presents from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans).2829- بَابُ الْهَدِيَّةِ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ:(29) Chapter. Giving presents to AI-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans).2930- بَابُ لاَ يَحِلُّ لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِي هِبَتِهِ وَصَدَقَتِهِ:(30) Chapter. It is not legal for anyone to take back his presents or Sadaqa (things given in charity).3031- بَابٌ:(31) CHAPTER3132- بَابُ مَا قِيلَ فِي الْعُمْرَى وَالرُّقْبَى:(32) Chapter. What is said about the Umra and Ruqba.3233- بَابُ مَنِ اسْتَعَارَ مِنَ النَّاسِ الْفَرَسَ:(33) Chapter. Borrowing a horse from some people.3334- بَابُ الاِسْتِعَارَةِ لِلْعَرُوسِ عِنْدَ الْبِنَاءِ:(34) Chapter. To borrow something for the bride at the time of her wedding.3435- بَابُ فَضْلِ الْمَنِيحَةِ:(35) Chapter. The superiority of the Maniha, i.e., a milch she-camel or a sheep lent to somebody to use its milk and return it to its owner afterwards.3536- بَابُ إِذَا قَالَ أَخْدَمْتُكَ هَذِهِ الْجَارِيَةَ عَلَى مَا يَتَعَارَفُ النَّاسُ. فَهْوَ جَائِزٌ:(36) Chapter. It is permissible if somebody says, “I give this slave-girl to you for your service according to the prevalent convention known amongst the people."3637- بَابُ إِذَا حَمَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فَهْوَ كَالْعُمْرَى وَالصَّدَقَةِ:(37) Chapter. If somebody gives another person a horse (as a gift) then the rule is the same as that concerning the Umra or Sadaqa (i.e., the giver has no right to claim restitution).

Bukhari · 2566يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ ، لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍThe Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Muslim women! The Prophet said to her "Order your slave to prepare the wood (pieces) for the pulpit." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was ahead of us. All of my companions were in the state of Ihram while I was a non-Muhrim. I overpowered and caught it, and gave it to Abu Talha who slaughtered it and sent its hip or two thighs to Allah's Apostle. The Prophet (ﷺ) ate the dried yogurt and butter but left the mastigar because 5 narratorsBukhari · 2576كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ سَأَلَ عَنْهُ ، أَهَدِيَّةٌ أَمْ صَدَقَةٌ ؟ فَإِنْ قِيلَ صَدَقَةٌ ، قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : كُلُوا ، وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ ، وَإِنْ قِيلَ : هَدِيَّةٌWhenever a meal was brought to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), he would ask whether it was a gift or Sadaqa (something given in charity).
