كِتَاب الشَّهَادَاتِ

Chapter 28

(28) Chapter. Whoever sees that promises should be fulfilled.

28- بَابُ مَنْ أَمَرَ بِإِنْجَازِ الْوَعْدِ:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three (1) whenever he speaks, he tells a lie, (2) whenever he is entrusted, he proves to be dishonest, (3) whenever he promises, he breaks his promise.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلٍ نَافِعِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثٌ : إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ ، وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ

" .
