Chapter 2

(2) Chapter. (What is said regarding) the sale of pollinated date-palms.

2- بَابُ إِذَا بَاعَ نَخْلاً قَدْ أُبِّرَتْ:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن عمر العدوي

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If someone sells pollinated date-palms, their fruits will be for the seller, unless the buyer stipulates the contrary."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : "

مَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلًا قَدْ أُبِّرَتْ فَثَمَرَتُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ

" .
